Intermediate Sized Palm Handle Gouges & Chisels - Made in the USA from high carbon tool steel and custom forged and hand honed  to a keen carving edge.  Permanently mounted in a hardwood handle.  Overall length of 5" allows the tool to be cradled in the palm while the fingers can be held close to the cutting edge for the greatest control.  Handles are flat on one side for comfort and to keep them from rolling off work surface. Stubby Hand Tools - These stubbies are a very popular size for carvers. The blade profiles are larger than the palm handled tools.  For reference, the cutting edge of the shallow gouge on the left measures 3/4".  Not quite as long as a full sized tool, they are easy to maneuver and allow excellent control.   Made in the USA from high carbon tool steel, these tools are custom ground and hand honed to a keen cutting edge.
